Your love story. From the way his hand fits in the small of your back, to his secret love of the bachelor, and how much he loves when you snort as you laugh, we love documenting your story. Your images together should show not only your love for one another, but also HOW you love one another. I want to see and photograph those nose crinkling laughs and tears that come from thinking about being apart. Playing and interacting as only the two of you can. I want your family and friends to look at your images and say, “That’s so them.”
Our couples session is $350 and includes up to two hours of shooting at two locations, two outfits and a viewing and ordering appointment if your shoot is not part of a wedding collection. We also provide professional styling (hair and makeup) with our monroe stylists, as well as assistance in wardrobe styling and set/location styling.

When should we do our engagement session?
If you would like to do a save the date, it is better to do the engagement session 8 months prior to ensure time to get your gallery to you and your custom save the dates designed and out 4-6 months before your wedding. If you are not doing save the dates, you may choose any time, generally based on the season you’d like to shoot in.
Where are couples sessions done?
We have many local areas that we use, both urban and natural, but if there is a place that has meaning to you, we will try to accommodate that location. We do love to travel!
What should we wear?
Jess is more than happy to work with you on wardrobe styling by creating a pinterest board for you, or you can send us snapshots of the items you are considering, and Jess can help you out that way by making suggestions that could help the look you’ve selected to photograph best.
Tell me more about the styling:
Ladies, you need to be at the studio an hour before the shoot to be pampered with professional hair styling and makeup application. This includes curls or straight hair, an up-do if you’d prefer and full face makeup with lashes. Come with a clean face and clean, dry hair so we can get started right away. You may bring photos you like to show our stylist what you’re looking to have done, or you can show her your outfits and let her take it from there.
Do I tip the stylist?
That is completely up to you. We take care of the payment for the service, if you’d like to tip them that would be lovely, but not expected. :)
We have children, can we bring them to our engagement session?
Of course, we just recommend that you have someone ready to take them after their part of the shoot is over, so that you can focus on each other for the rest of the session, rather than worrying about your kiddos.
